Bright Grey Could See Rise in Health Insurance Quotes

Bright Grey, the Royal London Group's insurance division which serves 3.4million customers, has revealed that in the first half of 2010, 98per cent of claims were paid. Which such a high percentage, many individuals looking for cover may turn to the company, with health insurance quotes rising as a result.

During the first six months of 2010, Bright Grey announced that not only had their claim payout increased by two per cent from 2009, but that the average claim had increased to £77,000. Talking of the importance of percentage payout to the public, Bright Grey life insurance's head of sales, Kevin Stevens, revealed that figures were not always the top priority. "Another big consideration is the level of service claimants receive," Mr Stevens explained, adding that the nature of life insurance meant that customers were experiencing a traumatic time of life. Claimants need to be treated with "care and compassion" he added, revealing that customer service was vitally important.

Meanwhile Mr Stevens of Bright Grey also revealed that their Helping Hand bereavement counselling service was well subscribed, indicating that policyholders saw this addition as a hugely positive extra to their cover. Elsewhere, with more than 140 years of experience working with financial advisors, Bright Grey remains a trusted insurer in the sector. And with attractive figures for those seeking policies, in addition to the beneficial counselling options, Bright Grey could well be noting an increase in health insurance quotes over the upcoming months.
