Ditch the Smoke and Get Better Health Insurance Quotes
Whilst last month industry expert Kevin Tooze of Equity Partners revealed that individuals could save large amounts of money on their health insurance quotes by quitting smoking, it has been revealed that smokers can puff their way through approximately 90,000 Pounds in just 20 years. Combining the increased price of insurance plans with the costs of cigarettes, industry experts have highlighted that the best way for some individuals to save on policy costs is to simply stop smoking.
Though it takes 12 months after an individual has given up nicotine to be qualified as a non smoker in an insurance company's eyes, experts are revealing that the process could be the most beneficial one that an individual ever takes. And it seems an obvious solution for the cash strapped, or even for those looking for a healthier lifestyle. Give up cigarettes, live longer and gain from cheaper health insurance quotes.
Revealing the startling results, website Moneyfacts said that a non smoking female could expect to pay 2,899.20 pounds over 20 years on Barclays Life, the cheapest option currently available. However, her smoking counterpart taking up the cheapest deal with AA Insurance Services would look to pay 4,244 pounds. Meanwhile, a male non smoker, and a male smoker both insured by AA Insurance Services would pay 3,024 pounds or 5,289.60 pounds respectively. And whilst the difference is obvious, adding on the cost of cigarettes can result in an astounding fortune. For a smoker of 40 cigarettes a day at approximately £6 a packet for 20 years, individuals can expect to pay almost 87,600 Pounds. And with both financial worries and health concerns plaguing many modern families, quitting smoking could kill two birds with one stone.
