Tesco home insurance supplier unveils health insurance costs
The supplier of Tesco home contents insurance has unveiled new, affordable health cover.
New customers for the cover can pay in just £15 a month for core health insurance cover if they are aged 20.
The supermarket firm and financial services company, which also provides quotes for home contents insurance, also said that core cover would cost £20 for 30-year-old customers and £32 for those aged 45.
However, potential customers are warned that these figures are made on the basis of the cover holder living outside of London with an excess of £100 - and also includes a 35 per cent no claims discount.
Actual premium costs can therefore vary due to location and circumstances.
"Health insurance is about quickly finding out what's wrong with you and then making sure you have it treated promptly - with prices like this, we hope to show just how affordable health insurance can be," Jeremy Sutton at Tesco said.
